Oliva Pinto is making his fifth Championship start. He has top-15 finishes in each of the past four editions, including eighth-place performances in 2020 in Mexico and 2024 in Panama. In 2024, he won the Argentine Mid-Amateur and finished T-5 in the South American Amateur in Colombia. He also reached the Round of 32 in the U.S. Mid-Amateur and shared medalist honors in the stroke-play portion with eventual champion Evan Beck. He represented Argentina in the Eisenhower Trophy in 2022 in France and 2023 in Abu Dhabi.
