Morales is making his third Championship start. Last year at Santa Maria Golf Club in Panama, he finished two strokes behind Santiago de la Fuente. That week, he shot all four rounds in the 60s and held at least a share of the lead after each of the first three days. Also in 2024, he went 1-0-3 for the International team in the Arnold Palmer Cup in Ireland, reached the Round of 16 in the U.S. Amateur and, for the second consecutive year, competed in both the U.S. Open and the PGA Tour’s Mexico Open. In the 2023 U.S. Open at The Los Angeles Country Club, the UCLA student had the honor of hitting the opening tee shot.
